The Mad Matter
The Mad Matter is a family business started by owner Gary Storz. After leaving the Marines in 1987 and working as a Mat Salesman for a small family owned floor company for a few years, he decided to start his own company. He packed his bags and moved from Maryland to Georgia and thus The Mad Matter was born! For us, failure is not an option. Perseverance is a given. The ability to make lemonade from lemons is expected. We could have failed, we could have chosen to quit, we could have just given up all hope, but we didn’t. And we never will. There is no virtue in mediocrity. While still a small company, we have carved a niche in a few markets. And our customers know they can count on us. We still run into pitfalls and make mistakes but that’s life. I know that the Mad Matter’s path of success will be laden with potholes. The road might be bumpy, but it still leads to our destination.
