The Magenta Project

The Magenta Project is a global charity working to accelerate equity and inclusion in sailing and the marine industry. Founded in 2015 by members of Team SCA from the Volvo Ocean Race, we are building a future where talent, not gender, defines opportunity. Through mentoring, leadership development, and community connection, we help women and allies gain access, visibility, and the skills to thrive across all levels of the sport and industry. Our mission is to ensure greater equity and inclusion for women in the sport and the wider marine industry, by working to dismantle the barriers that hinder their full participation and advancement.
