Proudly independently owned and operated, the focus of the team at The Main Skein is to provide an extremely high and satisfying level of personal service to all home knitters. You will find a full range of carefully selected, high quality knitting wools in all colours and textures at The Main Skein - a range that extends from fine merino yarns through to possum-merino blends, mohair-merino blends, natural yarns, alpaca and sublimely luxurious cashmere-silk blended yarns. We stock only the best knitting wool, and we are proud of our growing range of 100% New Zealand made knitting yarns from Naturally, Touch Ashfords, Rare Yarns and Countrywide.
