The Mark Newspaper

We are the Mark, Quest University Canada’s student-run newspaper. Founded in 2012, the Mark is the only formal student media organization on campus. As such, it is an essential element to the democratic and diverse community we wish to cultivate. We aim to cast a critical and objective lens on all facets of Quest life, from underground tattooing to administrative policies on faculty hiring. As an autonomous entity, we can provide balanced, unfettered coverage of important events and incidents, stimulating and facilitating dialogue on key issues within the community. We also act as a training facility for those interested in working in media in the future. The Mark is published, written, and edited by students, and funded by Quest’s Students’ Representative Council.
