The Matick Blog

A little watch blog that talks about everything that has to do with the local (Malaysia) watch-collecting scene as well as the lifestyle that surrounds it. Our main objective was to create a friendly environment to counteract the stereotypes of pretentiousness and materialism associated with watch collecting. We wanted to create a borderless environment where people from all walks of life (especially fellow Malaysians) are able to freely and openly share their passion and love for watches. Also, in hopes of instilling in young people of our generation, a deeper and greater sense of appreciation for pragmatic objects such as wristwatches, in spite of the rise of the new digital age. Up to this point, my team and I have organised a couple of gatherings with local watch enthusiasts alike, and we are currently planning to have it as a regular instalment in due course.
