The Middlewick

Set in 16 acres within sight of the iconic Glastonbury Tor, The Middlewick is an unparalleled location for holidays, retreats, group stays and events. Our accommodation ranges from beautifully converted 17th-century cottages to modern lodges and glamping E-dens. We can host up to 60 guests at a time – or more with luxury glamping tents in our fields. The Middlewick Café and Farm Shop is open 7 days a week from 8.30am. Our Spa is also open to guests and the public. Treatments include massage, reflexology, and Reiki in unique Shepherd's Hut therapy rooms. There’s also an indoor heated swimming pool and steam room. Each year we host yoga, dance, wellbeing, spirituality, and women’s retreats, writers and tour groups. Retreats range in size from 6-40 guests, with micro retreats becoming more popular (think 3 guests staying in 1 cottage – or a single guest attending an online retreat while staying at our beautiful location). Our Senary building, a hexagonal, timber-framed space with underfloor heating and countryside views, is ideal for yoga, sound baths, meditation, and workshops. With 15 miles of unrivalled views across the Somerset Levels to Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills, The Middlewick is an excellent base from which to explore Glastonbury, Somerset and the South West of England.
