The Mill Gym
The Mill Gym is a Veteran owned peak-performance training and development facility. theMill is a veteran owned and operated strength and conditioning facility. Our aim is to train our members in the functional ability to run, lift, carry, swim, lead, climb and fight. We do this by employing the methods, teachings and experiences of our time in the Australian Special Forces. The owners of theMill are veteran soldiers with cumulative experience of over 50 years in the Australian Special Forces. This includes multiple deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan and South East Asia. The owners are current and former qualified serving members of the Australian Special Air Service (SAS) Regiment, 1st and 2nd Commando Regiment (CDO) and the Navy Clearance Diver Teams (NCDT). Regardless of where you are in your fitness journey, over the last 10 years we have designed a range of programs to assist you in reaching the next level. We have flexible training options available to you that can be viewed under the “Training” tab. Our motto at theMill is “You work You reap”. This represents the ethos and standards by which we train. We believe in a disciplined approach, in a competitive environment that promotes sense of family, integrity, sense of humour, communication, respect and humility borne of shared hardships. We aim to simulate stressors that prepare our clients for the difficulties of their chosen craft. As modern soldiers, we once lived by the code of service to our country with the reality that fitness was a necessity for job success and ultimately survival. Now as trainers we put it in perspective. We understand that true mental and physical fitness develops resilience and is a means to excel in your chosen field and to live life well.
