The Mitchell Agency was started by me, Warren Mitchell in 2005. In the first part of my career he was considered a Captive Agent, which meant I only could sell insurance for 1 company. I grew The Mitchell Agency at a very fast rate and was ranked in the Top 10 Agencies across the entire state year after year. The bigger we grew the quicker I realized that only being able to provide my customers with 1 choice for Home, Auto, Life, Business, etc. from 1 company wasn't the type of agency I wanted to grow. I thought that my clients could be better served by having choices and so I moved my agency from being a Captive Agency to an Independent Agency. As an Independent Agency we are able to provide our clients with multiple insurance proposals from multiple insurance carriers. We only represent the best insurance carriers; all of which have an "A" Rating for Financial Stability.
