The Momentum

The Momentum is a commercialized digital media outlet, offering a mix of reporting, commentary and analysis on a wide range of sociocultural issues from everyday life, culture and arts, to social and economic policies. We debuted in October 2016, a time that saw increasing digitalization of media and journalism in Thailand, and an unprecedented flood of repetitive news content. The Momentum emerged as a readers’ alternative choice of online news; noted for easily accessible, quality journalism. In 2017, The Momentum has transformed itself from being ‘a news agency’ to becoming a digital media outlet.
