The Movements Trust exists to promote sustainable development, which we define as:"development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs". In short, social, economic and environmental justice. We recognise that to achieve this we need systemic change, addressing the inequalities and extractive tendencies inherent in our current economic and political system. Our purpose is to support and amplify social movements striving for a just society – and currently provide grants and other support such as fiscal sponsorship to those without charitable status.
