The Nahmias Cipher Report

The Nahmias Cipher Report is an online media magazine which presents articles on international affairs and global human rights issues. The mission of the website is a focus on Africa, Asia, and the Middle East and the challenges people face in these regions. The website has as its central mission the rights of women and children and the difficulties they encounter in achieving equality in countries with emerging economies. We strive to present alternative perspectives on every story. As the old aphorism goes,'there is the left story, the right story, and the truth." We have an established guidelines to refrain from demonizing any one religion, society/culture, or political system, but to share an alternative voice on the potential reasons for abhorrent abuses, provocative behavior, or heartbreaking situations which are often under-reported in Western media except from a negative perspective. Articles are submitted by our diverse and highly educated student journalists who are often the recipient of prestigious grants and fellowships such as the Fulbright Scholarship, and live and report from the countries in which they are completing their grant work. Currently, the website has 183K+ Facebook followers with an additional social media following on Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
