THE NEW SAVANT is a modern scent studio that creates olfactory experiences that connect on a personal level. We are self-funded, women and LGBT-owned. Our story We launched in December 2020 out of our Brooklyn home. Our first collection sold out in seven minutes, which allowed us to move into a manufacturing space in Gowanus, Brooklyn. This is where we design, make and ship our products. Our raison d'être We are obsessed with our sense of smell because it has the ability to connect us to the present moment in profound ways. But it is almost entirely absent online, which makes it difficult to lock in lasting, meaningful memories. What gets lost? How can we reconnect with it on a daily basis? We think about this all the time. How we work We are a DTC brand that utilizes social commerce to drop limited-edition and core collection scents. We are devoted to our cozy community and aim to deliver experiences they can’t find anywhere else. The ingredients and techniques we use in our products are incredibly important to us. We work with one of the top fragrance houses in the world to create custom-made, premium fragrance oils you won’t find anywhere else. In addition to smelling great, every scent goes through rigorous international safety testing and is backed by science. All of our scents are also vegan, paraben and phthalate free.
