The NHP Foundation (NHPF) is a national nonprofit real estate organization advancing affordable, service-enriched housing so residents and communities can thrive. Founded in 1989, NHPF has invested $3B to preserve and create affordable units across 14 states and D.C, serving residents. We develop and steward housing for seniors, families, and individuals, pairing high-quality real estate with resident-led programs that promote stability and opportunity. Through our development platform and resident-services subsidiary Operation Pathways, we deliver sustainable housing, Family-Centered Coaching, and strong public-private partnerships. Our impact is strengthened by an AA- S&P rating, innovative financing, and a community-first approach that keeps people at the center of every decision.
