The Nicu Dad
The NICU Dad is North America’s first and only 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated exclusively to NICU dads. We exist because fathers are often expected to “stay strong” while quietly carrying fear, stress, and isolation during the NICU journey. We provide peer support, practical resources, and advocacy to help NICU dads show up for their babies, partners, and themselves—during hospitalization and long after discharge. Through community-building, education, and partnerships with hospitals and neonatal organizations, we work to ensure dads are seen, supported, and included as essential members of the care team.
