Since 2010 we have been ready, willing and able to fund qualifying contributions into approved DC Pension plans for millions of savers. We now have 3 rolling 10 year periods of performance, where on average our members are around better off than 20m Default members using DC Workplace or Personal Pension plans. Our members were willfully prevented from accessing funding of qualifying contributions, contrary to COBS19.1. We submitted formal complaints to the FCA Executive and HMRC Compliance in February 2021 and have been awaiting the financial analysis from experts before submitting our request for claims from the FSCS. We expect to finalise our submission in July 2022. We have in principle secured commitment from Investors to help support Restitution Funding worth up to $500m and can increase this to $2bn once initial claims have been processed. We intend to work proactively with the Regulator and report any Firm who fails to do the right thing for their most at risk customers.
