The Omega

Thompson Rivers University's independent student newspaper, established in 1991, is the only print-based publication in the Kamloops, B.C. region devoted primarily to the campus community of TRU. The Omega is a registered non-profit society, unaffiliated with either the university administration or the students' union, and is governed by the Cariboo Student Newspaper Society. All students of Thompson Rivers University in good standing are active members of the Society. The Board of Governors who represents the Society meets regularly to oversee the operations. The Board of Governors is made up of various members of both the TRU and Kamloops communities. We print weekly during the fall and winter semester schedules and monthly over the summer months.
