Its this Rocky IV attitude ("If he dies he dies") that has to change. The Onsite Coach began as a side program to running a gym and cafe full-time. It was constructed for frustrated business owners constantly experiencing staff on light duties for manual handling injuries. It is presumed that people know how to protect their bodies as they lift, carry and hold. As a weightlifting coach I can tell you most do not. PRESUMPTION IS AN INJURY WAITING TO HAPPEN. Your staff may not be athletes but to the body, muscles do not differentiate work from sport. WORK IS WORK and the body needs to work well and recovery. Just like a car needs basic maintenance like water, fuel and oil to operate well so do our bodies. The body needs the basics to be looked after or over time it will need a mechanic.
