The Orchard
The Orchard is a lifestyle destination store, specialising in home and garden. It has five departments, including Home & Interiors, Garden & Outdoor Living, Pet & Aqua, Gift & Books and Cafe. The store is based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare and is listed in the Retail Excellence Ireland Top 20 stores for 2010. It also boasts a five star garden centre status from Bord Bia and was awarded Garden Centre of the Year 2010. The outdoor department is the largest in Ireland. Founded in 1987 by Gerry Dooley, it began as a humble garden centre but Orchard is now a large retail operation employing over 50 staff and currently expanding.
