The Oslo Times is independent online English daily, based in Oslo, Norway. We support and work for freedom of speech and stand on values of human rights. Ours is a democratic institution. We are against discrimination and extremism of all kinds which are responsible for dividing the society and the nations at large. We publish and prioritize the news that is based on facts/realities and that has gone through full investigative research. The Oslo Times has no space for yellow journalism and biased media. We are against creating any kind of propaganda. We are deeply committed to the ethics of journalism and respect the same. We support all those journalists who speak out for freedom of man and struggle for the implementation and safeguarding of human rights. We also support those who stand up against dictatorship/autocratic and our website is for all who want to contribute in this regard. There is no room for fundamentalism, bias and extremism here. We also support democratic ideals while respecting people of every faith and belief all over the globe. The Oslo Times practices and follows the Norwegian Media Code of Ethics adopted by the Norwegian Press Association as on November 23th, 2007. Each editor and editorial staff member is required to be familiar with these ethical standards of the press, and to base their practice on this code. The ethical practice comprehends the complete journalistic process from research to publication.
