The Paediatric Nurse

Founded in October 2015 by Brooke Batchelor, The Paediatric Nurse began as a blog- a creative outlet for Brooke to express her desires for different ways of relating to and working with children in her care. As a paediatric registered nurse, Brooke became frustrated looking for paediatric related nursing continuing professional development each year that was accessible, relevant and affordable. As a result, Brooke decided to start offering webinars with expert speakers from all over the world to help bring Paediatric Nursing CPD directly to you. The Paediatric Nurse works on the ethos that children can be part of the decision-making process in their medical care and, under the right conditions, children can and will participate- no matter how painful it is. We also believe in a child's right to safe, trauma-free healthcare that is truly child & family centred.
