The Peak stands as the pioneer Brazilian developer and operator in the artificial surf industry for real estate projects, private clubs, hybrid models and stand-alone projects. In 2017 we had the vision to create Latin America's first inland surf destination. After studying the technologies, we secured the exclusive rights to the Wavegarden Cove, the leading artificial surf technology at that time. A risky proposition as there were no commercially proven artificial surf pools open anywhere in the world. That said, we found the right partners in 2018 and selected our first project in Sao Paulo with the developers of Praia da Grama and helped build the world's first artificial surf pool in a private community. Grama remains as the leading artificial surf pool case study in this rapidly evolving industry. Fast forward 5 years, artificial surf projects in or around real estate developments, differentiate themselves from the competition, accelerate the sales cycle and skyrocket the real estate valuations. But the development intricacies are unique with complexities around entitlements, water use, integrating local partners, investments, financing options, importation, sales & marketing, complimentary amenities, operations and the right business model.
