The Pendlebury Centre
The Pendlebury Centre is a specialist Alternative Provision within Stockport. With an Outstanding Ofsted report, we support secondary-aged students who require additional help with their social, emotional and mental health needs. Accepting referrals of 11-16 year olds who have been unable to attend their mainstream setting, as well as families in crisis, we are primarily government-funded. With the determination of our PTFA we have been awarded charity status, enabling us greater access of much-needed top-ups by generous donors. We have an experienced team of teachers, assistants, SEN workers and trained mental health professionals who work with the children to overcome challenges and extreme anxieties with the ultimate goal of reintegration into their 'forever school'.
