The Philip Maher Foundation

The Philip Maher Foundation is a UK registered charity (Reg No. 1162769) with the stated aim of providing public access automated external defibrillators (AEDs) at amateur sports grounds and in public places. The Foundation was set up in memory of Philip Maher, a well loved and respected gentleman and amateur footballer of over 30 years. OUR MISSION STATEMENT The Philip Maher Foundation has been set up to help prevent other families from going through the awful tragedy of losing someone to a heart attack. The objects of the charity are: a) To relieve sickness in particular but not exclusively by the provision of automated external defibrillators and predominately public access defibrillators; b) To advance such charitable purposes as the trustees see fit from time to time in particular but not limited to the provision of information and assistance in the funding of and for the provision of Public Access Automated External Defibrillators for the public benefit
