My approach to helping my clients with therapy and counselling services, is founded on the principle of Integrative Therapy. This means choosing the practices from different therapeutic modalities best suited to a client’s particular needs and wants. By tailoring the therapy to the individual, I hope to deliver the most meaningful outcomes. Integrative Therapy is not limited to a particular methodology and instead allows me to draw on different techniques as they are required. I work with a number of forms of therapy and personalise the approach to meet the types of challenges you may be facing. This way of working suggests that there is no single method that is superior for each and every situation. It also means that differing theories that do not necessarily agree with one another can still be effective when combined, to benefit people with mental health concerns. It is essential to recognise that while Integrative Therapy is flexible, that does not mean that it is entirely without structure. Instead, I will work with you to decide on the most beneficial techniques for a specific purpose and then integrate these approaches into a cohesive therapeutic experience.
