The Pink Place

Since 2010, The Pink Place has provided FREE well-being services, complementary therapies, counselling and support to adults affected by cancer living across North Hampshire. Our services are available to people from initial diagnosis throughout treatment and beyond. Our groups really benefit from being able to talk to others who are in the same situation and who can truly understand their thoughts and fears; often saying things that would be impossible to share with their own family & friends for fear of upsetting them. Our sessions include friendship and support to each individual and encompass plenty of positivity and laughter too. With the full support of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, our charity provides a vital service to those living with cancer in our local community. Some of the feedback we have received; Lesley-I just wanted to say that The Pink Place has been a lifesaver to me during this awful time. The regular virtual coffee mornings have been such a big part of my life, giving me something else to focus on rather than my cancer. Being able to talk to others in the same situation & hear how they are coping & just to have a laugh with them has helped me so much. I really enjoy the Guest Speaker talks. Knowing you're there for us, even on the bad days is just wonderful. Rob-I am indebted to you. You give me a reason to get out of bed each morning & face the day ahead. I don’t know what would have happened to me during this time, particularly when dark thoughts creep in.
