The Plains

The Plains is a nonfiction film studio on a mission to cultivate art and story in the documentary form. The Plains is an Emmy-winning production company that specializes in heartrending, soul-expanding films. We are obsessed with story, possessed by meaning, and are always asking how our images can achieve more. Our films have, to date, resulted in partnerships with PBS (Independent Lens and POV), The Atlantic, and The Los Angeles Times, and we are persistently on the lookout for new partnerships for upcoming projects. Additionally, The Plains is available to hire for commercial work, industrial films, and branded collaborations.
