The Playful Place is a neuro-diverse affirming occupational therapy practice in Aotearoa New Zealand, offering therapy for children and families, professional development for teams and services, clinical and non-clinical assessments and community based learning workshops. The Playful Place specialises in sensory and relationship based approaches, placing connection, empathy and acceptance at the centre of all interactions and services. Relational and respectful, The Playful Place endeavours to be a safe place for all people. Founder Elen Nathan is a passionate therapist, who's practice centres around protecting and building self-esteem and whole whānau / family wellbeing for those she works with, through creating safe spaces for authentic expressions and understanding of kanorau ā-roro / neurodivergence.
