PROVIDING A POLYGRAPH TESTING SERVICE (LIE-DETECTION/TRUTH VERIFICATION) IN LIMPOPO, MPUMALANGA, NORTH-WEST AND GAUTENG SINCE 1997- Pre-employment screening polygraph tests to verify the honesty of new job applicants- Periodic screening polygraph tests to audit the honesty of current employees- Forensic polygraph tests to investigate crime in the work-place or to clarify issues in dispute. POLYGRAPHIST AND CRIMINOLOGIST GERALD WATSON: Served for 20 years in the SA Intelligence community, in an operational and managerial capacity, namely- the SA Military Intelligence Service- the National Intelligence Service/Agency; and - the South African Secret Service- This included three official diplomatic postings in London and New York. In 1997, he resigning on the level of Director (Brigadier) to pursue a career in polygraphy. He qualified at the American International Institute of Polygraph in the USA in 1997 and has conducted over 14 500 polygraph examinations to date. He can conduct polygraph examinations in English, Afrikaans, Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana & South Sotho. HE HOLDS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS- a Masters degree in Security Management (Focus on polygraphy in SA)- an Honours BA in Criminology- a BA in Police Science- a BA in Criminology and African Politics; and - a 3 year Modular programme (Advanced diploma) in Security Management. He also completed over 40 formal courses relating to various aspects of criminal investigations, covert intelligence, counter-intelligence, surveillance, risk management, polygraphy and security. HE IS A/ WAS A MEMBER OF THE- South African Institute of Security- American Polygraph Association- Security Association of South Africa- Criminological Society of Africa- British and European Polygraph Association- Southern African Polygraph Federation; and - Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority.
