The Positive India

Have you ever tried to count how many news items you read make you happy, inspired, motivated? Less than 5 % in main stream media. Does that mean all the happenings around us are negative? We at The Positive India are fed up with regular negative news being shoved down our throats by main stream media. So we came up with intitative to publish only positive news happening in and around. “Every day, in this country, ten bad & five good things happen. We decided to focus on five good ones”. We believe that “News is not about 99% people reading about 1%(Celebrities, ministers, babus). For us news is 99% of people reading about 99 % of people.” We write about stories of unsung heroes, change makers, innovations, education, children, women empowerment, community development, health care, art, sports. We intend to become a platform for sharing every common man’s positive efforts and to encourage positive things happening in our society. We intend to build an awesome community of positive people. If a democracy is for the people and by the people then why can’t the news (Media) be? We intend to make this a platform where everyone can share positive news happening around them. So, we are democratic media website biased towards positivity.
