The Practical Economist
The Practical Economist is a theoretical person who wants to understand the financial, economic, and investment worlds as simply and as completely as possible. The Practical Economist isn't interested in the drama of the day and strives to uncover the direction in which the economy and major investment classes are headed before they get there.or anyone else knows where they're going. The website is updated Monday mornings. Three sections always have new content: Newsletter, Commentary, and Investment Outlook. The Newsletter gives you the highlights of the week's news, some of which you may have missed and major economic data-but it's always the stuff you need to know; Commentary provokes thought on what happened during the week; and Investment Outlook is our take on what's going in the major investment classes and runs down the major opportunities of the week. The most valuable section of the website may be the Scorecards. The Scorecards blend how measures of how strong the economy is at present with where it's headed to provide a succint, school-type grade of how good or bad things are. The You Asked section gives readers an opportunity to ask questions. And readers can always post comments.
