As an AHRQ listed Patient Safety Organization, The PSO Advisory provides pharmacies, pharmacy-related organizations and hospitals with innovative, expert guidance for addressing systems and policies as they relate to the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act (PSQIA) of 2005. Knowledge workers at The PSO Advisory focus on medication error analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for a variety of pharmacy clients. We believe no other PSO can rival the direct experience we bring to bear to the areas of medication error analysis, process improvements and creating organizational awareness for a culture of safety. The PSO Advisory serves as an impartial, external expert to collect, aggregate, review, analyze and store Patient Safety Work Product securely and confidentially. We work hand-in-hand with clients to examine and analyze incident data to identify patterns, trends and opportunities.
