The Pulsera Project

The Pulsera Project weaves connections between artisans in Central America and students in the United States through the sale of handwoven bracelets made in Guatemala and Nicaragua. We provide authentic educational resources to world language teachers and service learning opportunities to student leaders. We celebrate and honor the ways in which people and communities are different and embrace the connections that make all humans similar. Our approach to international sustainable development prioritizes education, fair trade employment, impact investment, and empowering community leaders. Our educational mission focuses on four main components: humility, solidarity, self-reflection and new understandings of poverty. Join The Pulsera Project by hosting a fundraising event at your school!
