The Race Fellowship

THE RACE Fellowship is a Spirit-led, prayer-focused addiction and abuse recovery resource center providing media resources for learning about God and connecting with others in the community who know what it's like to experience radical life transformation through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Around here, Jesus is King of the Road, and we want you - like us - to start your engines and experience the ride of your life! While we do provide some level of community resourcing, our most important mission is to get people connected to the ultimate resource - God. He will lead each individual to exactly what they need, with or without us. You'll notice our not-so-subtle nod to car enthusiasts. Part of God's dreams for this ministry involve such things as car shows, and other outings that will help reach people, and support what we and other great ministries are doing for those struggling with the effects of abuse, trauma, addiction and other life-controlling issues. We trust that God will unfold those dreams in His time and way. For now, our focus is on prayer, support through resourcing and meaningful connections, and most recently, getting the media portion of our Website up and running strong. After that, it may be time to focus on our house band, Sonic Speedway. Who knows? For now, we will follow The Lamb wherever He goes, and continue to do what we do with the mind of Christ and the heart of The Father. THE RACE is an enthusiastic supporter of Adult & Teen Challenge of the Greater Midwest, Exodus Cry, Crisis Response International, and the Greater Peoria House of Prayer.
