The Rainforest School

The Rainforest School is an independent, co-educational primary school located in South Mission Beach, Queensland. We offer a warm, nurturing learning environment where students from Prep to Year 6 are supported to grow with curiosity, confidence and care. Our approach to education is grounded in strong relationships and a sense of belonging. We deliver the Australian Curriculum through a balanced mix of explicit instruction, hands-on experiences and real-world learning. Our students explore concepts deeply through integrated units that connect across subjects and make meaningful links to community, culture and country. We are proud of our strong community spirit and our commitment to conservation. Our students regularly take part in environmental and sustainability initiatives, and our curriculum includes learning on rainforest ecology, biodiversity and local stewardship. Creativity is also a core value, with students encouraged to express themselves through the arts, design and project-based learning.
