The Rehab Physio

The Rehab Physio provides specialist neurological physiotherapy using advanced technology and techniques to help patients with catastrophic injuries or complex neurological conditions to achieve the best possible outcomes. Founded in 2011 by Christopher and Jennifer Wynne, The Rehab Physio was created to deliver the best, affordable care in this under-serviced sector. Specialist rehabilitation services have traditionally been difficult to access so their dream was to open a clinic where patients would have access to both experienced physiotherapists, trained in advance techniques, but also the latest technology to optimise their recovery. Our 3,500 sq ft purpose-built physiotherapy facility on the Wirral boasts state-of-the-art technology, including robotics and virtual reality to deliver the intensive rehabilitation treatment (ie. thousands of repetitions per hour over hundreds of hours) required for physiological changes to occur. This level of intensity is difficult to achieve using conventional physiotherapy techniques and equipment due to limited resources and the practicalities of achieving thousands of repetitions. The Rehab Physio offers a unique three-pronged approach to treatment known as our Complete Solution. Our intensive rehabilitation technology centre is complemented by a team of neurological physiotherapists and a specialist rehabilitation gym where patients can work independently but access the team for expert guidance and advice. We work closely with a network of personal injury solicitors and case managers to ensure their clients get the most appropriate evaluation and treatment. The team is experienced in writing reports to detail factors such as rehabilitation potential, prognoses and treatment plans, taking account of the latest medical research and evidence.
