The Road From Karachi

Welcome to "The Road from Karachi," a unique culinary journey through the heart of India and Pakistan, pioneered by Khalida Perween Arab and Nadia Huma Arab. Our mission is to bring the rich flavours and timeless traditions of our heritage directly to your kitchen through our celebrated cookbook. Our book is more than just a collection of recipes; it is a passport to the authentic tastes of South Asia, meticulously crafted to cater to both novices and seasoned chefs. Each recipe encapsulates the spirit of traditional cooking techniques blended with modern culinary practices, ensuring that every dish is both authentic and accessible. Since our launch, we have been honoured with features on renowned platforms including BBC South Today, BBC Solent Radio, and BBC Breakfast. These accolades highlight our commitment to celebrating and preserving our cultural heritage through food. Our dedication has also been recognised by Stephen Morgan MP, nominating us for the Best Small Family Business in 2023. Beyond our book, we engage with the community through our robust online presence, offering cooking tips, cultural insights, and much more on our blog and YouTube channel. Our commitment extends to social causes as well, prominently through our clean water project, aiming to make a meaningful difference beyond the culinary world. Join us on "The Road from Karachi" to experience the warmth of South Asian hospitality and the depth of its flavours.
