The Rooted Collaborative

The ROOTED Collaborative is a global community focused on the growth and development of women leaders of color in the social impact sector, providing targeted networking and development opportunities for members. The mission of the ROOTED Collaborative is to identify, create space for, unify and develop a global community of women fundraisers of color in the social impact and social good space. The Rooted Collaborative community is designed to work in service of historically marginalized subgroups in philanthropy, specifically people who identify as women and people of color. We honor the intersectional nature of identity and acknowledge the importance of gender identity and gender expression. We invite all individuals who identify as women and people of color to be a part of our community and value the unique differences of each of our community members. We are committed to creating a psychologically safe, inclusive and equitable space for all of our members. The Rooted Collaborative is comprised of Women of Color who spend 50% or more of their time raising money or giving money away. Our members are raising transformational gifts around the world including the U.S, Canada, The Caribbean, Central and South America, Africa and the U.K.
