The Same Boat

The same boat project is promoted and strongly supported by Antonella Corazza, Olympic champion and world champion in the rowing masters category, who trains and animates the sports scene in Corgeno.'The same boat'. Yes, because the project is aimed at welcoming women with similar experiences in the fight against breast cancer and other oncological and disabling pathologies, subjected to interventions and therapies, offering them rowing as a sporting activity with the aim of physically and psychologically rehabilitating. The 'The same boat' project is organized by coaches, therapists and volunteers who provide time and skills to create solidarity projects, training and recovery courses, days of aggregation and fun, participation in events and regattas. To support this future activity, an 8Jole donated by Edoardo Verzotti & Livio La Padula of ROWINTEAM, a company that deals with training and consulting to companies through above all rowing team building and sponsored by the multinational SEBACH, leader in the rental of chemical plants, is available, who enthusiastically embraced this project. It is a wide-ranging, interdisciplinary project because sport in the early rehabilitation phase plays a very important function on the one hand, it is an extra motivation to return to everyday life, on the other hand, it helps to develop residual motor skills. Measurable results, with positive feedback on the ability of sport to stimulate movements and the right determination to do, in some cases difficult (or with longer times) obtainable with traditional exercises in the gym, have been recorded in various centers that experience sport in structured paths.
