Official non-profit partner to the National Park Service at Sandy Hook, NJ. Supporting programs and projects of natural, historic, and cultural importance. Established in 1989, the Sandy Hook Foundation's goal is to nurture and protect all of Gateway National Recreation Area's Sandy Hook Unit, including Fort Hancock, a National Historic Landmark. The Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organization that relies on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations, as well as dedicated volunteers, to reach its goals. Registered 501(c)(3). Donations are tax deductible where allowable by law.
