The Security Distillery

The Security Distillery is a student-lead think tank founded in 2018 providing quality and accessible information to students and researchers. In the dynamic field of security studies, we intend to distil the essence of complicated issues into digestible amounts of comprehensible information, without oversimplifying or losing nuance. The Security Distillery is an initiative from a multi-cultural team of researchers who are part of the International Master in Security, Intelligence and Strategic Studies which is collectively awarded by the University of Glasgow, Dublin City University, the University of Trento and Charles University Prague. WHAT WE DO AT THE DISTILLERY- Articles: we write and publish articles every week on different topics. Our content is structured regionally and thematically, ranging from foreign policy to gender and security, and from Asia to Americas- Podcasts: our whole new podcast has just been launched and new episodes are coming- Events: we organise events to talk with researchers and professionals about current security-related issues, stay tuned for more information on the upcoming ones.
