The Seventh Cup has a mission: Quality out of respect for people and nature. We are a premium seller of high-quality direct trade teas that have been produced in an ultra conscious way, protecting the human rights and the nature. Our path from the farmer is made with no middle men, so everything comes straight and fresh from the tea farm. Everything's transparent and traceable, as are we as a company. For us the most important thing is to offer highest quality teas, but without threatening the life quality of tea farm employees and the surrounding nature's well-being. They go hand in hand, both equally important to us. We want to create a new kind of thinking around tea, changing the whole way of drinking tea, and how tea is perceived nowadays. Our aim is to create an everyday luxury out of a mundane thing like tea. Throw away your tea bags and find a whole new world with our premium teas! The enchanting scent of the freshly picked tea is intoxicating and when you see the beautiful whole leaves, combined with the knowledge that we provide of the pickers, the farm, the traditions, the experience is nothing but remarkable. Our aim is to open the hidden world of high-quality tea, get people to respect the high-end product and origin, most importantly the people making the tea. Tea as a whole deserves more than to be brewed in a bag in a hurry! Today's society is focusing on fast production and low expenses, but that way of thinking is killing the traditional tea production, where the makers cherish the year old tradition and centuries old ways of making only the best teas. This takes time, love, passion and great deal of understanding of all the factors that go into making a high-end tea. Few people really know what's going on in the background when creating mass-market teas. Big companies purchasing the tea are putting an enormous pressure on the farmers to lower their prices and creating higher quantities. This pressure is directly seen in the employees' wages, quality of life and in the surrounding nature. We want to change that and look away from the mass-producing areas. We want to lift the small-scale farmers that do this for a living out of love for tea and they cherish their employees and the environment. We choose our farmers thoroughly to ensure that their values are the same as ours, without making any compromises. We have great love towards our farmers and we only want the best for them.
