The Shield Trust

The Shield Trust for Education empowers young people to protect and shape the mindsets of the next generation through values-driven civic education. We integrate independent civic clubs in secondary schools (ages 9–17), led by trained youth mentors (ages 18–30). These clubs are safe, inspiring spaces where students learn about self-development, good and responsible citizenship, empathy, social impact, critical thinking, and leadership. Our curriculum is story-based, scientifically grounded, and adapted from global models,including Ravenswood College, Australia, ensuring it is both locally relevant and globally informed. Every club is lead by young mentors to execute Social Impact initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), The Shield Trust is cultivating a generation that doesn’t just succeed. They lead, serve, and transform. We work hand-in-hand with our media partner Unmask Inc, which helps bring our stories to life through magazines, films, and educational materials.
