The Shop, Salt

The Shop, SALT is a gender-neutral clothing brand based out of St. John’s, NL by childhood friends, Lauren Saunders and Emily Evans. SALT, stands for the age old saying, “Salt of the Earth”, to be genuine, good-natured, and true to yourself. This sentiment was the catalyst that started the brand, and continues to impact every business decision. Our mission is to create meaningful connections and celebrate personal expression, by creating modern clothing designs with transparency through authentic storytelling, dynamic shopping experiences, and partnerships with like minded creators. What started as an online store in September 2017 has grown significantly, to a brick and mortar St. John's, NL storefront, seasonal pop-up shops across NL, and pop-up shopping events across Atlantic Canada.
