The Solar Venture

The Solar Venture (“TSV”) is a private company, purpose-formed to commercialize a unique next-generation solar cell technology. Its mission is to create the world’s highest efficiency thin film solar cells by a very low cost commercial manufacturing process. Since launching in August 2007, the Company has conducted a feasibility study confirming favorable material results, secured nearly $5 million equity investment and government funding. TSV has assembled a first class team of private and public researchers, written a vetted technology plan, conducted extensive IP analysis, and completed a full business plan covering its first two years, which is a research and development phase. It has filed 2 patents. TSV’s objective is deliver 15% efficient, large scale, proof of concept samples by early-2010.
