The Startup Social

The Startup Social was formed in response to the lack of a dedicated startup community within the city of Liverpool. We hope that our meet ups and events will begin the development of an innovative and collaborative ecosystem, one that may one day rival the likes of Silicon Valley. Great things don’t happen alone. A great team is essential. Whether you are an artist looking for freelance work, a developer looking to join an exciting project or a curious individual with the ideas, passion and thirst to change the world, we hope that our meet ups can facilitate this entrepreneurial journey. OUR AIMS - Create a startup network in the North to compete with London- Create a Silicon Valley of Europe- Allow opportunity for networking, collaboration and productivity- Facilitate and encourage the development of startups- Create a start up ecosystem based on collaboration between people of different backgrounds, talents and skill sets e.g. business, medical, software designers, engineering, law, marketing, advertising, art.
