Welcome We are an independent charity, with three investment programmes that aim to: Promote the well-being of the very young and very old, protecting those who are suffering or at risk, but unable to tell others about it. Encourage the commercial development of scientific research and innovation, which creates business and jobs in the UK. We support scientific research as a founding donor to the Royal Society Enterprise Fund. Support specific one-off projects that will tangibly benefit people- Innovation runs across all our investments. We work with partners to help break new ground, embed innovative approaches and share the lessons. We are based in Hertfordshire and combine a commitment to the county with a national outlook. We support projects within and beyond Hertfordshire, and contribute to policy and practice, locally and nationally.
