The Story Project

The Story Project firmly believe that everyone has a story to tell but, because of hardship or misdirection, may lack in the tools to express themselves. Enter TSP. Conceived in the town where storytelling makes history, The Story Project uses the tools and expertise found in professional Hollywood storytelling in an effort to foster youth imagination and creativity. We provide our unique, entertainment-based curricula to middle school students in a project-based, after-school arts enrichment program that continues to encourage kids into the discovery of their own personal story. Storytelling: Promotes literacy, Self-Esteem, Reduces truancy, Furthers education, Allows for personal reflection, Brings the community together, Enriches lives. Since 1998, TSP has worked with thousands of kids from all over Southern California, Austin, TX and Maryland, empowering each and every one through the storytelling-arts. Many of our alumni have used these leadership skills and creative inspirations to further their lives through high school graduation and into college careers.
