The Strongman Group remains a family business, now in its fourth generation, with its roots dating back to 1908. The original paint business evolved into the highly successful Color Your World company, with stores expanding into every major city in Canada. When Color Your World was sold in 1984, the Strongman family retained their real estate holdings and began managing the assets. The real estate portfolio has evolved and grown since then. As a long-standing family business with its history rooted in retail, Strongman Group continues to pride itself on its relationships with tenants. Today, Strongman Group owns and manages over $215 million of commercial real estate assets throughout Western Canada and Ontario. The Strongman Group has several real estate investment companies under management. Total assets are approximately square feet with 50 properties and 150 tenants across Canada. The Strongman Group continues to diversify and expand its real estate holdings though both acquisitions and new development.
