The Trackers

The precarious conservation situation that exists today in our planet, keeps us worried, worried about the people who, even though they see advertisements, scientific texts or initiatives of some NGOs, do not take the weight of the situation we are living. They do not know what can be the cause and at the same time the heroes of this world. Our world. Global warming, whale’s hunt, soil degradation by forest monocultures, habitat fragmentation by the crazy real estate industry, wildfires caused intentionally or accidentally by people are some of the major problems that affect thousands of species around the world. In Chile, the southernmost country of South America, they inhabit more than native species of which 3,500 are registered which 66% are under threat. The Trackers was born as a project based on short films of flora and fauna of Chile to be distributed to all people of the country through social networks. We wish to generate dedicated and free content, a short film for each species range from critically endangered to least concern. We should not talk about conservation if we dont get closer to the species, its current situation and theirs important ecological role. We want to raise awareness and educate the population.
