Recently, Tony was Head of International Trade Finance – Americas at Bibby Financial Services, spearheading a project to leverage a 15-country network by offering new and existing trade finance solutions to small and midsize companies. Previously, he launched Trade Payable Financing for Delta Trade Finance, a British supply chain finance business, and International Factoring and Inventory Purchase Funding for First Capital, a U.S. lender. Prior to First Capital, Tony headed the International Division at GMAC Commercial Finance, where he managed the $700 million international factoring business. In 1989, after managing various trade businesses for Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JP Morgan Chase), Tony co-founded the company that pioneered “Purchase Order Financing” – 100% inventory financing against confirmed orders. He sold the company to MTB Bank, where he created and managed DirecTrade, the first-ever bank-owned integrated B2B trade finance, freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution service.
